Even though I live in Ontario and even though the calendar says it is just 10 days until Christmas, we still have green grass and the hydrangeas I left by the deck – and I caught the faded blooms basking in the sun.

yes, right across all the seasons. Mind you, they seem to be a little over prolific and I am going to have to cut some back (again) in the spring.

beautiful – hydangeas are such fabulous flowers, even when they are past their prime!
They are, and they dry so well for indoor decoration without dropping all over the place.
