Thanksgiving at Lochiel

I set out on a photo shoot and arrived at St Alexander’s church in Lochiel just as it was being opened to decorate for Thanksgiving this past weekend and she invited me inside.   St Alexander’s celebrated its 160th anniversary in 2011.  In danger of closing, parishioners are being encouraged to return – 35 have responded and things are looking up for this little piece of rural Ontario history.
