Lovely image – I like the B&W processing here, makes it look quite old – though I’m not sure about those windows, they look too new for the building, Great detail above them though.
Hi Jude – The building was originally the Maryvale Convent and it celebrated its centenary in 2013. In 1966 it became a nursing home. In 1983 it was converted to a residential home for seniors. Now known as the Abbey for the Arts it has been a place for art shows, concerts, weddings, and private dinners. Sadly, it is now up for sale. All that is to say, the building is old, but the windows are new 🙂
Actually the fellows who presently own it have done an amazing job with it. It’s just that they are getting older and feeling it. It is hoped that someone will continue their efforts.

Let’s hope someone buys it and restores it – it would be a shame to let such an old building fall into decay.
