Love what you’ve done here, Lynne! It’s especially interesting that the spots of blue are carried out in the background. Fun, creative post-processing 🙂
What a great technique. Not the selective color, but the juxtaposition of the older, very flat, background with the crisp, sharply focused bike. Is the background a drawing or poster? Or did you do something in post? Oh, forget my question. I just read the comments.

Hi there Stacy and many thanks. I had fun with this one.

How fantastic is this! Beautiful, Lynne.
Love your enthusiasm 🙂 thank you.
I like this look. Looks like a comic book.
Thank you, Jude – the background was very busy and I wanted the bicycle to stand out.
So what did you do to the background?
I adjusted the threshold and then brought the bike back up to normal.
Very cool post processing. 🙂
