Llyn Padarn

Llyn Padarn lies at the base of Mount Snowdon in North Wales.  It is the sixth deepest lake in Wales, reaching depths of 100 feet.  It is also one of only three natural localities in Wales that supports the rare alpine fish, Arctic Charr, a living relic of the lake’s glacial origins – according to the site Visit SnowdoniaDSCN0097 Llyn Padarn Llanberis sl 8x6
