Well, depends on what you’re used to perhaps. 🙂 I don’t think there’s a road in England, Scotland, Ireland or Wales that doesn’t roam and wander as if it was mapped by the cows coming home. That said, I just sat in the back seat for over 8K kms and loved it. My brother-in-law, on the other hand, came home with a bad knee with all the moves between gas and brake.
Ahh, well, yes, that’s what I love too about driving ourselves around. I’ve never been one for the now-if-you-will-look-left kind of touring. I like to be off the tourist track.
All your Scottish countryside roads and landscapes are beautiful. What I especially like about this one, is how the red weeds add color to the rugged countryside. Thank you for sharing it. Scotland is number ONE on my list of places where I want to go.
I hope you have the opportunity to get there, Sonia. I very much enjoyed the rugged beauty of Scotland. And thank you for the kind comments on the shots.
Splendid photo. Love the splash of living red at the bottom
Thank you, Doug 🙂
Just lovely. I have fond memories of Scotland, such beautiful country side and roads. I remember it was very easy to drive there.

I don’t mind a bit of bumpy driving. Getting off the beaten track is par for the course for us. Stay safe!
