For the weekly photo challenge Jen is asking for photos that embrace our season – whether it be what is outside the door, or the phase of life we find ourselves in. This image was taken two days ago after an ice storm blew through but it also symbolizes my present status; my life turned on a dime one day last October and I have new paths to follow to I know not where.
“March on. Do not tarry. To go forward is to move toward perfection. March on, and fear not the thorns, or the sharp stones on life’s path.” – Khalil Gibran

The shadows on snow are just so nice. Winter does have a beauty. But Spring will be most welcome.
It will be indeed, Ruth 🙂
Lynne, I was at the park this morning, but my path was a mixture of mess and ice, so I spent my time slogging along the verge in the grass/mud. It’s was still great to be outside, but I didn’t see as much as usual, because I had to pay so much attention to where I was walking. I much preferred a few days ago when my path looked more like your lovely shot.

That’s a great metaphor really – there are times when we need to keep focused on one step at a time.
